I run a business in the industrial part of town, so needless to say my requirements extend a bit further than a printer and a computer screen. My technician recently came up to me and said we needed a new pressure transmitter. It has been years since I last bought one, so I have no idea what is available on the market these days and I feel like the technician is swearing at me when he tries to explain the features. What can you get that you couldn’t back in the day when I first started? I remember my dad always saying to me that a transmitter is a valve with an extra function, and me trying to argue the point. Now, I am not sure I will even recognize a pressure transmitter with all the technological breakthroughs that have been made in that area. Have pressure transmitters really changed that much and what are the features they come with now?
